Me: Hey! I thought you confirmed dinner tonight?
Tim: Yes. Sorry about that. Just discovered that I may have kidney stone due to extreme pain in kidney. Now in Singapore Hospital A&E.
Me: Oh... You are kidding,right?
Tim: Kid you for what? Really in pain! Now in SGH :)
Me: *thinks to self... maybe it's a joke. Just ignore the message*
Much later...
Peggy: Tim said he will join us.
Me: So the kidney thing was a joke, lah!
Peggy: No, it's real. Just that doctor said he doesn't need to be hospitalised. So he is joining us for dinner.
Me: What? Ok... Whatever.
We met, talked, had dinner. Started talking about work. We have the same ambitions. We've graduated from "hell" Syn, as much as we were tortured then, it'd molded us into fearless warriors. Nothing is too difficult, sometimes normal life is even... boring!
